Wandered around Old Town Orange today. If you’ve seen the movie “That Thing You Do,” the opening scene is filmed there. Also, played at an open mic at The Ugly Mug. It is an awesome coffee shop/venue that is made out of an old house. I played a show there a while ago. I really like the venue, except the guy who runs it is oddly grumpy. If you look up reviews on Yelp, about 90% of them talk about how awesome it is and how the grumpy owner ruins it. Is it worth going back? I’m not sure…but there’s a cool record store next door.
