This has been a week filled with mixed emotions. Leonard Knight the 82 year old creator of Salvation Mountain passed away. He was one of my real life heroes. He not only created my favorite place in the world, but loved everyone to truly and simply, in a way many people have never encountered before. His mantra was “Keep it Simple….God is love” amongst other sayings of similar thought.
Over the past 5 years I have visited him and his mountain about twice a year, and every time I leave inspired. Leonard has been a huge inspiration in my life. He will be missed.
