Along with being a musician, comes being a procrastinator. We all knew that we had to be packed for a full week of shows on the road by 6 AM, but somehow, I managed to start packing at 3:30AM!
For some reason, during the time I should have been packing, Ash and I went to the post office, then we joined Alex and Joe and decorated their porch in christmas lights. (This seemed very important in the moment, until 4AM was approaching, and I was not done packing.) Then I needed to jump my car, which I had been trying to do for days, so obviously needed my manager’s help.
Then I ended up writing with Joe at CMC. And Evan came by and paparazzi style snapped some pics.
And here you have, THE NEW ADVERTISEMENT FOR SONGWRITING
The add would say, “You too, can have this much fun, just start writing a song.” Or something.
