Kylie Campion is a singer/songwriter from Orange County, California; but the story only starts there.  Growing up in a musical family, she has always had a passion for music.  Kylie’s love for music was also shaped by her love for travel, and her experiences abroad are ultimately what inspired her to become a musician and songwriter.  At 16, Kylie was motivated to teach herself guitar while doing volunteer work in Costa Rica.  Her travels to Costa Rica, Mexico, Spain and the Dominican Republic inspired much of her music.

As a freshman at Vanguard University, Kylie began playing open mics at coffee shops and bars in the Orange County.  As her fan base and collection of songs grew, Kylie recorded her first album entitled Live in the Living Room in early 2009.  After forming a band, she began to play larger venues; Kylie’s following continued to grow, and the band was featured in several local newspapers including the OC Times, The San Clemente Times, and the Dana Point Times.

In 2010, Kylie continued writing, traveling, performing and recording all over the United States, Europe, and Central America. By the end of the year she had finished recording her first full-length studio album, entitled Spontaneity, released on iTunes in 2011.

In January of 2011, Kylie left California once again, this time for the Contemporary Music Center in Nashville. While in the program, Kylie began co-writing with other musicians and focusing on her sound.  There Kylie was a part of a Midwest tour where she showcased her original music. The following summer, Kylie went on tour across America with the band she formed in Nashville. She then spent a month living in Argentina finishing her Spanish minor, and finding new inspirations for her songwriting.

In May of 2012 Kylie  graduated from Vanguard University and moved to Nashville, TN to further pursue music. That summer she released her EP “Love and Fate.”

Kylie is currently traveling, writing, and recording and looking forward to a new year full of music releases. In fact, the goal is 1 single per month of 2016. so stay tuned.
